Tanya Tucker talks ‘The Mother Church’ at ACM Honors as it was held at the Ryman Auditorium.

The Ryman is a historic landmark in Nashville, and named The Mother Church of Country Music.

Tucker also relives the moments of standing in line at the Ryman back in the late 60’s as she states:

“I remember waiting in line right out here in the middle of july in 1967 when i was 9.

waiting to go inside to see roy acuff and seeing the greats.

Tucker also goes on to explain how she feels about being with her peers and younger generation honoring her stating:

It also feels really great to be honored like this, i’ve always said the greatest honor is the fans sittin’ in the front row.”
