Mike Snider brings 99 year old sweetheart on stage for  ‘Angeline The Baker’ at the Grand Ole Opry.

Many amazing shows have taken place at the Grand Ole Opry, even in recent years of it’s long running career.

This one is no exception as Mike Snider brought up, Violet Hensley, who is the 99 year old “Whittling Fiddler.”

In a quick intro interview Snider did, it is mentioned that she was only 9 years old when the Opry started.

This means Violet was born in 1916, and has a daughter that turned 80 years old in February.

After also explaining that she was playing a handrafted fiddle from the 30’s, Snider intro’d the song.
