Full Name: Thomas Luther “Luke” Bryan

Hometown: Leesburg, Georgia

Born: July, 1976

Biography: The youngest brother of a farm family in Georgia, Luke grew up having a craving for country music. He picked up his first guitar at age 14 and soon was singing melodies of his idols including Conway Twitty and George Strait.

In high school, Luke Bryan was apart of musicals and wrote his own songs as he put Nashville on the map for a future career. His father eventually told him to pack his bags for Nashville or he was fired, in which he took advantage of until his older brother Chris, had been involved in a fatal car incident. Bryan then started college at Georgia Southern University to be with family.

Eventually ending up in Nashville, he was picked up by an A&R Rep from Capitol Records after a local club performance. Luke Bryan first came out with his first album “I’ll Stay Me” which was released in 2007, and landed him a jump start on the Country charts at number 2. Unfortunately Bryan experienced another family loss of his sister Kelly in 2007, of which never got resolved by medical officials how she had passed in her home. This would eventually end up in his future songs to help meld his emotional state with his fans. Since his first album he has consistently came out with an album every 1-2 years that hit the top of the charts, along with many singles. His full list of studio albums include:

  1. I’ll Stay Me – 2007
  2. Doin’ My Thing – 2009
  3. Tailgates and Tanlines – 2011
  4. Spring Break….Here to Party – 2013
  5. Crash My Party – 2013
