Jon Pardi releases acoustic video of George Straits song “Nobody In His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her.”

It was originally written by Dean Dillon and released by Strait as his first single from album #7.

Also released in 1986, it jumped all the way to the top of the Country charts in the US.

Pardi introduces the song by stating how he grew up with Straits music as he states:

“One of my heros, i think everybody’s hero in country music.

Also the reason i’m doing this song is my grandma loved country music

During the 80’s and early 90’s, everybody had cassette tapes, and she had George strait tapes

Every time I hear this song it really takes me back to growing up and listening to george and singin songs with my grandmother.”

It is hard to find only a few Strait songs that really pop out at you, as there are so many to choose.

That is the wonderful thing about even covering such an icon, it doesn’t really matter which one you pick.
