Jason Aldean wraps up rehearsals in Nashville to get ready to hit the road for his 2016 tour. It is a headlining tour across the U.S. but also introducing Canada and Australia in the dates later in the year. “We Were Here” is based off of the 14th song in his latest album called “Gonna Know We Were Here.” This album “Old Boots, New Dirt” was and still is a huge hit when it was released in 2014.
This song is based on going back to our high school days and especially Jasons. In his music video above, he returns to Macon, Georgia where he grew up to relive the emotions of a homecoming football game. This video was actually footage of the small towns homecoming game and features Aldean walking through his old school reminiscing of State Championships in the gym, to trophies through the hallways.
This new tour will surely bring the same feeling as it is expected he brings back some classic songs from the start of his career. Along with featuring his latest albums guitar riffing, party hard attitude to keep the nights rolling. The first stop is Moline, Illinois on January 14th, you can see all the stops and purchase tickets now here.
