Full Name: Frank Robert “Frankie” Ballard IV

Born: December 16, 1982. Battle Creek, Michigan

Hometown: Nashville, TN

Bio: Frankie Ballard is an American singer/songwriter who dove into the Country Genre as an artist is 2010 when he signed with Reprise Records. He released “Tell Me You Get Lonely” with that label which peaked at 33 on the Country charts in 2011.

Before he was signed, Ballard was a contestant on Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Star” competition in Michigan. After he won the competition he was invited by Chesney to open for his Michigan shows on the headlining tours.

2011 was also when he released his self-titled album which features “A Buncha Girls” and “Tell Me You Get Lonely.” This was a big year for Ballard with two chart climbing songs, and a debut at the Grand Ol Opry with a self-titled album release.

Frankie then moved to Warner Bros. Records in 2013, which he released his very successful album “Sunshine and Whiskey.” Three singles hit number one from this album from 2013 to 2015 including “Helluva Life” and “Young & Crazy.” He released a lead single “It All Started With A Beer” for his upcoming album in 2015 which you can find here.
