Dustin Lynch recently had an interview with Save A Guitar, where he explains what inspired him at a young age.
At the root of what made him be where he is today, he mentions his father giving him a guitar:
“growing up, my mom would always to to get me to take piano lessons, and i was more into sports.
My dad bought me and him a guitar for his birthday one year, when I was 8 years old. So that was my first guitar.
He explains further about his learning process at age 14 stating:
“I picked up his guitar when i was 14 and started learning, it was fun to be able to work all night on finger positions. once you can start pressing down string and making noise, it becomes addicting.”
