Cole Swindell is on his fifth episode of “Swindell Vision” where he takes the viewer along on his touring journeys. In this episdode he takes us behind the scenes of Crash My Playa 2016 down in Mexico.
This is an event put on by headliner Luke Bryan, and also features Dierks Bentley, Brett Eldredge, and many others. Cole and Brett reminisce on the warm weather in Mexico and joke about not coming back to the snowy Nashville we have now.
This is his second year at Crash My Playa with Luke as his albums/tours such as the “Down Home Sessions” have expanded. Being close with the guest artists and looking up to artist such as Dierks, it is clear that Cole is living the dream so early in his career. His statement about Dierks
“I got to sing with Dierks last night, thats the biggest fan moment of my life probably, he’s one of my favorite influences.”
To top that off, at the end of the episode, it features Cole and Luke singing “Rollercoaster” which he helped cowrite with Luke. If that is not payoff on songwriting, I’m not sure what is. It is very interesting seeing the influence of artists like Luke who can influence an entire career for an upcoming artist. If anything, Cole should be an inspiration to upcoming artists as facing adversity form a conservative genre like country, and not break down.
