Bio: Chris Janson grew up in Missouri and decided to hit the Nashville scene right out of high school. He was a songwriter who got cuts from Justin Moore and Tim McGraw.
Janson signed to BMA Records in 2009 and also cowrote “I Hold On” and “A Love I Think Will Last” with Holly Williams. He released his debut single “Til A Woman Comes Along” in 2010. BMA was in the process of restructuring when Chris left and in the time off he cowrote “Truck Yeah” for Tim McGraw and “Off the Beaten Path” with Justin Moore, along with many others.
In 2013, Janson signed with Bigger Picture Music Group and released “Better I Don’t.” Another single called “Cut Me Some Slack” came before his breakout single “Buy Me A Boat.” This was released by Warner Bros. Records in 2015 and took off for Janson receiving radio coverage and climbing the charts to the top 5.
