Blake Shelton releases self-titled debut album by Warner Bros. in 2001.

On July 31st, 2001 Warner released Shelton’s first full radio ready full album called “Blake Shelton.”

This album is also holds the infamous single ‘Austin,’ which would be one of many factors in a long career.

Along with that, came “All Over Me” and “Ol’ Red” to make this one of the most memorable albums of the decade.

These other two would go on to peak in the teens on the Country Charts.

However, ‘Austin’ held strong at number for 5 weeks straight, which gave plenty of promise for a next album.
